While I doubt it has to do with the age, and everything to do with the fact that it is the sort of film that doesn't look good on repeat watches.

yeah...that one isn't as funny as it was when i first saw it, although it does still have a few moments i enjoy. i also can't stand "ace ventura" now - i mean i like jim carrey, i just don't think him talking out of his butt is funny anymore. i wonder how he feels about that.
