This showed last night on Nick. I haven't seen it in a good few years, so it was a nice walk down memory lane to put it on. It still has a wonderful charm and innocence to it, along with that magic of the little boy befriending and helping the alien, even if he is a bit obnoxious.

And oddly enough, this week Encore has been showing the Alien movies-the two biggest contrasts you could find.

ET was the first movie I saw in the theatre! I haven't seen it in so long, but it's definitely a walk down memory lane. You've inspired me to check it out.

I thought he was a nice little guy that seem to try and help out if he could...

and boy did henry thomas grow up to be quite a cutie

i also rewatched that movie not too long ago. it's always a good one to pop in once in awhile to bring a smile, and maybe a couple tears.

Henry is a pretty good actor as well, he has been nominated for a couple of golden globe awards...
I think he looks a lot like my neighbor down the street "Darrin"... Well until Darrin opens his mouth,
he has crooked yellow teeth and talks like a hillbilly...

Sorry to step on popular opinion but yeah the little boy kind of drove me nuts at the time! It's not much better now either. He was cute, but really annoying :D Sorry...
