The Onion Movie (2008)
![]() The long-delayed Onion Movie finally makes its way to DVD, and for me was totally worth it. If you're not familiar with The Onion, it's America's Finest News Source . If you liked Kentucky Fried Movie or The Boob Tube, then you'll enjoy the movie-within-a-newscast-within-a-movie of this film. And how can you NOT like any film which features a trailer for a Steven Seagal film called C**kpuncher?

Rocky Balboa (2007)
![]() I had hear good reviews, so I finally got around to watching the final Rocky film. Luckily for me, it's easily the best of the series other than the original film. The film is nicely paced and full of heart. A fitting and dignified end to a series which had once collapsed under the weight of its own preposterousness.

oh and by the way i have "romance and cigarettes" in my dvd player. i got through about half of it. i was really excited to see this movie as i'm a huge kate winslet fan, but i was falling asleep during it. not as good as i expected, and kind of a dumb movie to be honest. i might try to watch the rest some day, but who knows. it definetly reminded me why i do not enjoy james gandolfini - but it did spark some great quotes from steve buscemi, who is hilarious as always.
