Finally got my hands on the latest Futurama movie. No real gripes here, its pretty much everything you'd expect in a typical TV episode of the show except its longer. We get two more closer to the holidays, so its nice to know there's more to come in '08. I just hope this ain't over after that.

I watched the movie Firefly last night... [Click on picture above for more info]
I was looking for a movie to watch and saw it and remembered that I had seen it
on Stubblecat's favorites list... Well I had never seen or heard of it before... Which I
could also say for about half the flixs on Stubblecat's favorites list... But anyway
I got it and watched it and was pleasantly surprised... The special effects were surprisingly
well done and the show itself was very entertaining... I loved the Malcolm character
[thats Nathan Fillion] he was quick to cuss out, fight, shoot, or even kill anyone
that gave him a hard time... Now that is my kinda spaceship Captain... And I looked online
last night and found 14 episodes from the last season that I have never seen and are just waiting for me to watch...
I'm a happy cat, thank you Stubblecat...

I watched Jumper the other day and while I really liked the movie I thought it was rather short and could have been much more. It was not fleshed out but what was there I really enjoyed. I hated the mother/son scene at the end. Why do they do that crap in movies where there is one scene that is completely out of place. I would love to see a sequel.

Good movie, but an even better concept.

3.5/5

CopyCat, there is no Firefly movie. Do you mean you watched Serenity?

Firefly was a fantastic series and Serenity was one of the most incredible movies ever made. Very unique.

I give both solid 5 star ratings.

Glad I could spread the Firefly gospel! My wife just recently watched the series for the first time and she was royally pissed by the time we finished the series (and the movie), because she had grown so attached to the show and the characters just to have it be cancelled at the end of one season.

i just watched "hide and seek" the robert de niro/dakota fanning "thriller." it was okay, nothing too interesting really. although i didn't see the twist coming, i wasn't really surprised or shocked. fanning is good in the movie, but de niro was sadly disappointing.

Last movie I watched was Batman Begins with 12 of my friends this last Saturday evening. The Bluray was incredible and it had the first six minutes of the new film on it.

Default The Bucket List

I just finished watching The Bucket List this weekend. I loved it. Comedy element was very good. There was also I serious element directed to what a person's priorities are when they know the end is near.
