Default What's On Your To-Watch List

Following Stubbs lead in regards to what DVD you last watched, I thought it would also be fun to see what DVD's you plan to watch in the upcoming days (for me, this would more aptly be entitled "What's In Your Netflix Queue")....

I know a lot of people love everything to do with Samuel L Jackson, and as a whole I really respect his acting abilities... however sometimes his movies can be really hit or miss for me. I'll be curious to see if I love it or hate it. I tend to like the more 'feel good' variety of good guy goes into bad school and makes a difference, but i get the feeling this is a bit edgier and not as happy-go-lucky as my normal picks...

----

UPDATE: Figured I might as well edit my queued thread and put my 'after watching thoughts'. Let's just say I'm glad I rented this as opposed to buying it. I would never have any desire to watch it again. It had a great concept for a story, but it just took forever to get there and when it did it was just "eh". I was waiting for some facet of the story to really 'pop' so to speak, and it just kind of muddled along slowly.

Overall Rating: C

So... you know maybe posting watched and planning to watch DVDs is some sort of therapeutic thing as I am starting to realize that I really do have pretty sorry taste in what I like to watch... with that disclaimer being said, here's the other Netflix movie due to arrive tomorrow...

Well... umm.... yeah, I like Mr Bean.

187? But how will I know what's going on if I haven't seen 1 through 186?

Seriously though, I'll be watching 1408 some time this week. And I have a small stack of Blu-Ray titles to watch at home. I think the first one will be V For Vendetta.

1408 was okay. the previews kind of wrecked that one for me so it might be better now that the perviews are out of your head. and i loved v for vendetta. i never read the comic, and i still enjoyed the movie and i think that says a lot.

Yes, really. I know - I need help.
187 by the way ended up being mildly disappointing. Just finished watching it, and I really thought it was going to knock my socks off, but it just kind of dragged along. The concept was interesting, i just felt the execution was less than. In that case stubbs, I'm glad i skipped 1-186 :P

On to bigger and beaner things for me today...

Mr. Bean's Holiday was funny. I did hear that the latest Rambo installment is coming out this week (or next?). I'm planning to rent that one.

Cool

I saw the latest Rambo and it was very much like the rest of them...
This time he is going back to save whats left of a dumb group of Christian
human rights missionaries... He first takes them into the bush, tells them
that they are probably going to all die... Then he goes back and saves whats
left of them, killing about a thousand or more bad guys along the way... I
got to hand it to the guy though, he looked pretty good to be about a hundred years old...
I wouldn't want the old fart mad at me...
