Default Puppy/Kitty/Birdy TV?

Have you ever tried one of those DVDs thats supposed to be like TV for your pets? I've been thinking of getting one for my parrot but I don't need to burning pixels in my TV or skipping and causing issues for the neighbors...

I think these are some of the worst gimmicks that I've seen. I can't imagine my cats sitting down to watch television of any kind. I wouldn't waste money on buying these myself. I suppose if your parrot is alone all day it could get lonely so may benefit from this. I have heard that many birds are very social creatures and don't like to be alone.

Er, are you kidding? TV designed for your pets?! I have never heard anything so silly.....!

I don't see this as being anything more than a way to get your money, and waste electricity at the same time. If your parrot is lonely, buy another parrot-isn't that what they need?

You can rest assured that people will be lining up to buy these along with DVDs for their pets. In some countries that find it hard to understand how someone can actually have a dog living in their house. Because for them dogs stay outside all the time.

Cool No smelly pets in my house...

I'm with Ricky on this one, this is just a way to take peoples money...
Your dog or cat is not going spend a lot of time watching TV
regardless of how much you want them to be like you...
And I have never kept a dog or cat in my house...
I don't like there hair and smell all over, You know
immediately when you walk into someones home
that keeps a dog or cat in the house because
of the smell... I do have a pet fish named Snot
in a bowl here beside me at my computer
desk... But he dosn't smell up my house...

Maybe you should get a DVD for snot. Hey, it would only have to be six seconds long and you could put it on repeat for when his memory gave up....

"Oooh look, something shiny on TV. Glug." Swims a circle.
"Oooh look, something shiny on TV. Glug." Swims a circle.
"Oooh look, something shiny on TV. Glug." Swims a circle.

Ad infinitum.

Seriously though we rotted our kids brains well enough, why should we start with our pets now? This makes no sense.

Actually parrots enjoy TV/radio. They really do need noise during normal hours to be happy and feel social. And I bet I could smell your fish I find fish keepers have a moldy smell to their house. Its also commonly known that every person and household has a unique smell that the person or people dwelling within don't notice as they are acclimated.

I don't think I'll be gifting this to my best friend's cat though.
