Failure to do so could result in most unfortunate bannage.

This sounds so strict and not fun - where in reality the guidelines we have are so relaxed and simple!

The Rules:

1. Do a search for the movie and see if it already exists. Chances are IT DOES seeing as though as of this posting there are over 47,000+ movies existing in the movie review section. Search the forums first. If you can't find it this way, try searching using the Flixray Title search at the VERY top of the page, then if you find the movie on the main site, click the review link on that page that will then take you to the specific forums post.

2. If you're posting a formal review in the 'members review' section, don't just leave a one thought post such as "this movie sucked". If you didn't like it, that's fine, but tell us why. Was the plot weak? Was the acting worse than a fifth grade pageant? Back up why you feel how you feel.

3. No hate references or crude language. We have values here at flixray. We don't mind sarcasm, some mild mud slinging and all that jazz, but do it in good taste and moderation.

4. Please keep reviews as plain text - no images, no bb code (ie no text formatting). These look ugly on the review page located outside of the forums.
