I'm just so predictably mainstream... and for that, I apologize... But keeping in being honest here, the last DVD I watched recently was WALL E.

By no stretch of the imagination was it my favorite Disney Pixar film, but I did manage to stay entertained throughout. For me this is one of those movies that had the potential to become a favorite, however in the same breath it managed to fall a little short for me. It was cute, but never laugh out loud funny, and frankly I've come to expect the laugh out loud humor from these films... otherwise they end up looking like a mere tool for endless marketing in the retail sector.

All in all I'd still give it a B- ... didn't love it, didn't loathe it either.

Set in the 22nd Century, the animated flick Wall-E depicts the impending future that is bound to destroy mankind unless we stop cluttering and abusing planet Earth. Wall-E, the short form of Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth–Class, is a robot roaming the uninhabitable Earth in the 22nd century, where he molds scrap metal into bricks and piles them into neat towers. His life takes a new turn when the humans send another robot named EVE or Extra- Terrestrial Vegetation Evaluator, to detect organic life. As Eve completes her mission successfully and rushes back to give this good news to humans, Wall –E follows her across the galaxy to profess his love for her. My love for the download Wall-E movie can be understood by the guys who have watched this movie.
