Docotr Who is a British sci-fi series that's been running since 1963 (well it took off the 1990's and came back in 2005 but still)

The main character is The Doctor a time traveler and well meddler. He usually travels with a young female companion or two and together they all fight the monsters. While the show has been on for 40 odd years, the main character has been played by ten different actors and there have been something like 20-30 companions. Don't worry though the story isn't linear like a soap opera, you can jump right in just about any where and get the idea pretty quick.

Well as luck would have it, it's totally new to us as well So we'll flip switches and push buttons together.

Btw, do you know I have never seen a single episode of Doctor Who (why do i think it is a series and not a movie... now i realize i'm not sure) - and I see you are quite a fan... I'll have to find out what the story is on that.
