"A cross between a Monster Truck and a Hummer", that is a pretty good description, I like that... Well if you don't like this one, you'll really hate the next Batmobile in the series which is "The Dark Knight Returns"... It looks more like a tank with treads, not at all aerodynamic looking, and gunmetal in color... But you may like the one in the Batman movie after that "The Dark Knight Strikes Again", it is more like the old cartoon batmobile aerodynamic looking with one big tall bat like tail fin in the back... And this batmobile will have extendable wings and control surfaces, retracting wheels, and a pair of jet engines, thats right this Batmobile can take to the skies as a completely air-worthy vehicle...
I can't wait for this one...

I'm ready for a new BatGirl myself... XD

I like Burton's Batmobile--it's a Corvette on steroids! But the downside is: Burton's world was a little too clean for me, even when he was trying to get gritty.

I like the new Batmobile and more importantly, Nolan's vision of Gotham and the franchise in general. Things get really screwed up, dirty, broken down, etc. The new 'tank' Batman is driving fits just fine with me.

Ok Brad for our friends reading this I'll just say that you are talking
about Tim Burton, the director of the 1989 Batman and the 1992 Batman
Returns flixs... Here is a pic of him with Johnny Depp on the set of
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which he also directed...

Here is another pic of the car, I find it amazing just how
much better it looks with a pretty girl standing beside it...

Then your talking about Christopher Nolan's vision of Gotham City
in Batman Begins... Nolan's vision is like a hellhole straight out of
one of Hieronymus Bosch paintings...

Oh yeah, welcome to FlixRay Brad !!!
