Yeah he looked real good, but I think the make-up people help a lot with that... I know I seen him on a talk show not to long ago, and he looked petty old... And I remember him saying: quote "You know you're getting old when all the names in your little black book have M. D. after them". lol !!! ![]()

I think it's nice for him that he gets to do one more. After all old heroes aren't supposed to die, they just get really, really experienced at staying alive.
I'll have to get a group of friends together, watch all three in one sitting and then go out and see this one at the cinemas. |

![]() The story is a legend, I agree... But I think they should have replaced Harrison Ford with a new younger Indiana Jones character, like they have done with James Bond... Ford was born around the time they were bombing Pearl Harbor for Christ sakes... Its a little far fetched to think he would be out there swinging from ropes, and kicking butt... ![]()

I'd say differently with Ford on the Indiana Jones movies. This is not like James Bond movie because James Bond is just a code name for Agent 007. For me, Indiana Jones won't be Indiana Jones at all if the actor is not Harrison Ford. These kind of movies are being carried by the actor and not just by the story alone. It is like changing Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter because he is getting old for the role of Harry.

For my part, i'd rather see a definate final Indiana movie with Ford. If they would change him, they better change the title of the entire project. It's just not the same. As for the age, i got no problem with that either. I see your point, but it depends on just how much he's flying around. And of course in what year the movie is supposed to take place. As for movies like Bond. That particular series have a completely different history behind it. We have gotten used to the ever changing actors in those movies by now. 20+ movies about the same character requires it's share of actors; as opposed to only 4 with indy. Nostalgy plays the greatest part in seeing ford taking up the whip again. ![]() |

An interesting observation for a toddler, but I think your wrong... Tarzan was not a code name, and look how many of them there were... And it was not the first one that was considered the best... It was johnny weissmuller who started playing him in the 3rd or 4th movie... And what about Batman, Superman, and all the rest of the character changes we have seen over the years... And if we go by your way of thinking, this will be the very last of the Indiana Jones movies... Unless you want to go watch him fighting out of a wheel chair... ![]() ![]()
