i've heard from my trusty informent that there maybe a 2nd transformers i dont really know the details just thought id let you know.although i did get a little snippet. "Update #1: Paramount Pictures has apparently set June 29th 2009 as the official release date for Transformers 2, according to BoxOfficeMojo."

"The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay have signed with DreamWorks to make Transformers 2, which will hit theaters in Summer 2009. However, Michael Bay wrote last week on his blog that he might be “jump ship” to make a pre-strike movie. If Bay gets involved in a big budget picture like Disney’s Prince of Persia, who knows when Bay would be available for a Transformers sequel." as quoted from a random web site.

Cool. I hadn't heard this bit of news but I'll be keeping my ears open for more! I thought the first Transformers was excellent and would love to see another made.

Shhh! Don't say that too loudly or my partner might hear. He loved the first one and went through this period of time where he wanted to build model transformers. He'll be ecstatic when he hears about a second one, lol.

As for Prince of Persia, I've never heard of a PoP movie before (Yeah I know the games of course...)

But those are two great ideas and one hell of a waiting time for me though - summer of 2009 - geez and I thought waiting for my friend to give me info on if I should buy a plane ticket for April 9th of THIS MONTH was a long time...(I'm moving there...and time is dragging on like crazy)

Sweet, I'd love for a Transformers Two. The same weekend would be double keen, although the later date works too. Here's hoping everything goes together to get it done as if they wait too long it will be too late and it will get bumped back. And honestly two years between movies is enough these days.

I just hope that Transformer 2 is as good as the first one, if not better. Sequels are normally not better than its predecessor, except for some movies that are divided in series like LOTR or Matrix.

I wonder who will be the villain in the next Transformers. As we all know Megatron was defeated already (although I think its defeat is so lame, just a small cube inserted by a boy). Maybe he will be resurrected by an evil scientist who wants to rule the world.
