*Journey to the Center of the Earth*

Yes thats right, lets do this one more time...
I know they've all ready done this movie a half dozen
times before, but this time it a little different...
Not only will it have newer, better special effects,
but this time it will have 3-D computer graphics....
I bet I got your attention now... This will be the
[big to see movie] for the kids this summer... Of
course its just a new version of the classic Jules
Verne story, a story that was written 143 years ago...
That right the CopyCat checked, thats a long time ago...
And I'm thinking they had a lot of extra money to spend
on special effects sense they only had 3 actors to pay...

Here they are from left to right:
Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutcherson and Anita Briem

The storyline goes like this: Lindenbrock's [Thats Brendan Fraser] as a science professor
whose untraditional hypotheses have made him the laughing stock of the academic community...
But then on an expedition in Iceland, he and his nephew stumble upon a major discovery
that launches them on a thrilling journey deep beneath the earth surface where they travel
threw never before seen worlds and along the way they encounter a phosphorescent sea,
electrical storms, swamp monsters and even dinosaur eggs that turn into dinosaurs...
And of course in the end the Professor's team escapes via a volcanic explosion
and the Professor is hailed as a hero... Its a very old story, but its a good one,
I'd love to see this movie at the theater myself... I may very well
borrow a few kids and take them just so I can see it...

Ok enough talk, heres your preview...

Default Classic story

Usually remakes of classics leave me cold but this one does look interesting. "Journey to the Center of the Earth" is a storyline that could be made better with the special effects that are available now compared to the original. I most likely won't go to the theater to see it, as I rarely do, but I will put it on my Blockbuster list for when it comes out on DVD.

Brendan Frasier? You've got to be kidding me. I can't say I've liked half the incarnations of this one, although I do adore the novel. I'll probably rent it as its an action and those can be fun for the effects.

I have seen 3D movies at home, and I just glasses that I got off the back of a cereal package, that had a 3D scene on :P I had them around for about five years until they finally got used!

Not a movie I would go to the cinema for, but I like Frasier, so will look this up when it hits DVD or On Demand.
