Beverly Hills Chihuahua - Annoying or Adorable?
I'm not a dog-hater. But I just found this extremely annoying. What do you think?

When will this madness end?
Two thoughts occurred to me: 1. Some Disney executive enthusiastically green-lit this thing. 2. Every time Disney knocks out a cute animal movie, thousands of people rush out to get real live versions of those same cute animals... Which mostly end up being neglected/abused/killed.

I am a huge dog lover myself (my dogs are ridiculously spoiled)... but I will say that when I saw the ad for this movie I just rolled my eyes. Enough already. I have no tolerance for the 'Air Bud' movies or half the other crap animal movies they churn out any more. It reaches a point where it's insulting to the consumers intelligence.
(Now watch me end up liking this movie after saying all that).

And I can imagine the Dalmatian sells after the "A 101 Dalmatians" movie... I like dogs, but not small dogs and especially not Chihuahuas... I hate those little ankle sharks...

The animal sales after these types of movies are indeed awful. They need to make more movies with mongrel/mutts in them instead, lol. I can't say I plan on going to see this one either.

Another dopey animal film by Disney, the chinging of cash registers, a new blockbuster hit, and Disney executives making paper airplanes out of $100 dollar bills in the boardroom.
Disney always made animal films, and some were actually quite good. These days though? I wouldn't be surprised if they are cranking them out of some automated factory.
