Default Burn After Reading

Anyone else getting excited for this one? It opens September 12th, a week from Friday. I think the cast is great, and I love Coen brother's movies, so this one is right up my alley!

The trailer's a hoot, that's for sure. It didn't end up getting a very warm reception up here at the Toronto International Film Festival though.
Hopefully that was just the critics being too harsh and trying to compare it to No Country For Old Men.

I just saw a preview for this, it looks really fun! It's not something I would normally go for, but I imagine I'd actually like this one.

Big Brad Pitt fan here. He looks ridiculous with that hair though. Looks funny but probably won't spend to watch it.

I am planning on seeing this one this weekend. Love the Cohen brothers and I can't wait to see Brad Pitt and George Clooney together again.

I'm pretty ambivilant about this film. I saw it opening night with a friend.

When this movie hit the mark it was great, and hilarious. When it was off, it was really, really off. Brad Pitt and J. Jonah Jameson were the hit of the film. I loved every second of their performance. Everyone else seemed forced...except Malkovich. He was typically bizarre.

The language didn't rival THE BIG LEBOWSKI, but it certainly felt that over the top.

I really don't think the dark humor was that great because i wasn't invested in the characters. It seemed like the cast was compensating for the script. The truely funny moments I laughed at were well deserved and felt whole heartedly. The rest of the laughter was almost in spite of the film.

I'm not sure I'll buy this one.

Glad to hear you liked it, at least somewhat, Todd. I haven't gotten to go see it yet, this weekend was just too crazy. Maybe next weekend.

I LOVED the Big Lebowski!

This is one I am a little shaken over but in a good way. It seems this month and next a ton of crazy things are coming out and some commericals have got me shook just watching them.
