I forgot one! It's one that the wife will NOT watch with me:
The Star Wars Holiday Special ![]() If you haven't seen it, you're... um... lucky... I saw it on TV back in '78 and now I torture myself (and my coworkers on occasion) every Christmas with a showing. Truly terrible fun!

Directed by Seth Gordon, Four Christmases is a comedy drama about an upscale happily married couple Brad and Kate who are forced to spend their Christmas holiday visiting all four of their divorced parents. Kate and Brad find themselves stranded at the airport when all departing flights are cancelled, and with an overzealous television reporter breathing down their neck they are forced to go to four different households to visit Kate mothers Marilyn (Mary Steenburgen), and her pastor father Phil (Dwight Yoakam). They also visit gruff father of Brad, Howard (Robert Duvall), and his bullying brothers, Dallas (Jon Favreau) and Denver (Tim McGraw) besides his New Age mother, Paula (Sissy Spacek).
Four Christmases is a good Christmas movie. |
