Music everywhere

Judging from the amount of iPods and other portable music players, it seems as if the music industry has simply exploded. The little players are literally everywhere and it seems like people are just so addicted/connected/wired into their music. Maybe I'm in the wrong line of business..

It's an industry dedicated to the very same kind of tech freaks who change cellphone with each passing season. I wouldn't have gussed that it with explode the way it has either, i have no clue what could possibly be so enchanting about every new model that comes out... Must be something in the drinking water that turns people into compulsive consumers.

Well if my buying habits are any indication, when I'm in full force geek mode (which thankfully I've slowed down a bit as of recently while trying to be careful with my spending) it's very easy to get caught up in the whole technology latest and greatest game. I used to be that way terribly so with cell phones and pda's... but since i'm no longer in the 'corporate working world' it's easier to take a step back. Having said that, i'm still drooling for the ipod touch.

I must confess to being something of a techno-geek but I never could tolerate hanging around with headphones in my ears all day long. I'm a PDA junkie and have gone through quite a few in my time. So here I am hankering for my iPhone G gift.
