Default Stuck in my head

And it is driving me MAD.

How do you get a song that has been stuck in your head for days on end, OUT? It is almost like the song is haunting me now and its really started to urk a nerve or seven.

Just so I can enrich your day: When you have a song that you can't get out of your head, the technical term for that is an 'Earworm'. Read about it here: Earworm - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

My wife kept playing this horrible Maroon 5 song a few weeks ago, and every now and then when my mind is idle it pops up in there to annoy me.

I constantly switch to something as soon as I recognize I am singing it again. I just do it over and over without making much fuss over it.

I knew it! It's the same as the Last Song Syndrome or LSS. Just like everyone said, just listen to another song.
