Hello,

My name is Chris and I am a DVD-aholic (all say "Hi Chris"). I haven't been to a theater in years and hope to keep it that way. Some times it is hard not to run right out to watch a new movie instead of waiting until it comes out in DVD but so far I've been successful. I just don't like the theater atmosphere any more.

I feel the same way as you in regards to the theater (although I do believe I will make an exception this Friday when the 2nd Chronicles of Narnia movie comes out). It's so much more comfortable to stay in the comforts of your own home and watch a movie, pause as needed, rewind etc. Plus the theater near me seems to be a magnet for idiot teenagers (this is meant no offense to any teenagers reading, it's just I always seem to sit behind the overly loud and obnoxious ones at the theater I go to).

Anyhoo, welcome aboard! Looking forward to getting to compare DVD notes with you. What movies do you typically enjoy watching?
