Default The boss and his girlfriends

I just can't stand these little bimbos at the office who think they are the cats' pyjamas because the boss likes them. Actually I think it goes beyond him just liking them but I don't have any proof. The sum effect of his attention however, is that they know they can get away with all sorts of stuff that put pressure on the rest on us.

Its the teachers pet all over again this time not in school but in the work place. Favoritism is something that bothers me in the work place. I think anyone is replaceable, I just wish more bosses felt that way too so I fully understand. Hang in there!!

Well I think we need to look at this from the bosses point of view too...
Is it so terrible for a boss to show a little favoritism to a pretty little
bimbo that makes his other wise dull day a little brighter... A bimbo
that that is there in a flash to answer his every need... A bimbo that is
willing to bend over backwards and forewards to please the boss...
And especially those bimbos that are willing to put in those after hours
overtime hours off the clock going to late night dinner and such with the boss...
Now I think that a valued employee of this caliber deserves
a little extra consideration... But thats just my view point...

Sometimes I think bosses and subordinates can't help but like each other if there is something to like. I have no problem with office romance as long as they're all professional during office hours. But if office politics or favoritism begins to show...well that's a different story.

If it's not a professional relationship during office hours then somebody needs to leave the office. And copycat, the 'valued employee' you described sounds so much more like a mistress or whore, not an office assistant.

Whore is such a foul sounding word, prostitute sounds so much better...
And I surly do hope you didn't mean mistress or whore in a bad way...
Because I've had a mistress and she was a fine lady... And I know several
prostitutes personally right now that I am very fond of... These ladies are
also capable of working in an office environment... They can type, file, do
spread sheets and most anything required of a office secretary... In fact
many a mistress and prostitute are secretaries... So I really don't
understand your reference to my 'valued employee' comment ???
