![]() I have found that if I drink about a pint or more of Jack Danials whiskey it helps me sleep... But I'm always very careful as to not get so drunk that I can't lie on the floor... On another note, I have found that sleeping on the floor helps my back ![]()

When I first read your post, I thought maybe you're pregnant? (You know, just because a lot of pregnant women have trouble getting comfortable enough to fall asleep) But after the Jack Daniels talk, guess not!
I take a Melatonin which is supposed to be a natural way to increase the melatonin your body makes at night, which helps you sleep. |

You guys sound like my friend! She would've answered "a nice pitcher of sangria". Hahaha.
Seriously, though, I used to have trouble sleeping until I realized I just needed to replace our really old pillows. I bought some from Bed, Bath & Beyond and bought their memory pillow for $40, which is less expensive than the Tempurpedic ones but it really really helped get me well-rested. |

I actually think some of my problem (aside from the head churning around different things at night) is my mattress. I keep saying I'm going to get a Tempurpedic but my gosh those things are so unreal expensive... but... I have heard that they are insanely good as well.
I kinda like the Sangria idea also... which is my reaffirming to Noel that no, i am definitely not pregnant! (Though the thought did make me chuckle). |

I tried one of those foam type pillows... you know, those contoured ones you get from the chiropractor, but my head was just simply having none of that. It couldn't have been any less comfortable. Did it take you a while to get used to yours?

I've been having an issue the past couple nights, but its been a rather full moon and the light shines off the water behind the bedroom and drives me nuts. Even with an eye cover its just something about the full moon. Once its gone the insomnia is on and off, but never that bad.
I normally take Benydryl/Simply Sleep (same thing, lol) most times if I know I'm not tired and hopefully it gets me tired by bedtime. |
