Spring cleaning

Not sure if this is a rant or a rave both maybe.

I got bit by the spring cleaning bug. I've been working my way through the house, doing one room a week. I mean top-to bottom. Yay me! But EW. The grossness that lies around every corner. There were so many nasties under the drawer under the range. And mold on the inside tracks of my crappy single paned aluminum windows. And don't get me started on the dust bunnies. They were so big, they were forming a troop surge under my bed.

My sister use to feed me dust bunnies and tell me it was Cotton Candy...

lol, I've been organizing things in anticipation of being able to clean. Two new shelving units and four new rubbermaid totes to put stuff in to get it out of the way and in some sort of order. After I get through that and sorting through clothes and the closets I can actually clean. Thank goodness I cleaned pretty thoroughly back for Christmas.

Haha, I was bitten by the same bug! I made the mistake of moving my refrigerator to clean around/under it and wow, I can't believe how much has gathered there. Eww!! It feels good to be accomplishing a lot, though, so I can't complain too much.

Cat, that's just nasty!

I got bit too, about six weeks ago. Stripped the place down, vacuumed with the 'special' vac that has water in it to catch all the dust, so the air is clean, and generally rearranged.

It feels nice to have the place extra clean.
