How long is this going to go on? I thought we Canadians could really drag our politics out until everyone is completely sick of it. You Americans really have us beat on this one. You aren't even to the start of the real election campaign. I just get to hear it on the news ad nausea. I wonder how voter fatigue will influence who actually gets elected.

In America, election campaigning is an art. You gotta love it for all its ups and downs. The media, I think, benefits the most as there is no shortage of grist for the mills.

I may not vote this year for the first time ever. I have NEVER seen a more utterly worthless list of candidates then we have this year- PERIOD, and RETCH!

I believe that everyone with a vote, should vote. It's their hard fought for right. Otherwise they will be stuck with whomever was thrust upon them and they shouldn't complain about whatever decisions are being made for them.

I couldn't have said it better myself, Bruce. If you don't like the candidates you just have to pick the best of the worst.
By the time the election comes people are more than ready for the whole thing to be over. And as was previously mentioned, things aren't even really into full swing yet as far as news reports and ad campaigns.

I am so totally sick of the election stuff. I mean really like you say it's not even election time yet and all we ever see on TV is debates and discussion of how it's going. Get on with it already!
