Default Woohoo movie bargains!

I'm not a mother but I have a soft spot for chick flicks. Well, I got Moulin Rouge for 6.50 today!! It's one of my favorite movies ever. Me so happy.

Cool

Yeah I seen it, it had Nicole Kidman and some guy that I think I seen in
"The Phantom Menace"... Yep, its a chick flix because I hated it... It
seem to have good acting and all, the parts that I was awake for anyway...

Layla, that's a REALLY good price there, especially for a movie favourite of yours. I haven't seen the movie although I've heard about it but the positive reviews from you and madarinpeel makes me want to go and rent a copy. I want to see what CC is ranting about.

As a straight male, I'm not ashamed to admit that I really like Moulin Rouge. The acting is top notch and you have to admire actors that can sing, dance and act.

$6.50 for Moulin Rouge (I'm hoping it was the 2 disc) is a great deal, but Deep Discount has the Red Curtain Trilogy boxed set (Strictly Ballroom, Romeo and Juliet - DiCaprio version, and Moulin Rouge) for $14.47 with free shipping.

See, I'd have to avoid that one, I do not watch anything with DiCrapio in it.

I was surprised I like Moulin Rouge, because I don't like Nicole Kidman. But Ewan McGregor is hawt, I'll watch him in almost anything.

Nice buy if you like the movie! Personally I couldn't stand it-I gave it a fair trial too-watched it twice at a friend's request. But it was just so over the top-and I am unfortunately a terribly down to earth, not glitzy type person.

My husband didn't like it either and he likes Broadway plays. Somehow he just didn't "get" the storyline or something. I think its wonderful and fun to watch. I've put off buying it because he won't watch it with me.
