Try having impatient kids on Christmas morning. I learned to have everything ready to so the little monsters unwrap 'em, the toy just hits the floor like one of Britney's kids.

That's the first thing that came to mind when I saw the post. The CDs are so protected, sometimes you want to just scream. I bought a bulb in my area and was surprised to see the packaging material. Barely enough to cover the bulb.

I remember you Americans used to have your CDs packed in those horrible longboxes for years, didn't you?

I bought a disc once in Maine. I opened the plastic, then opened the box, then opened the plastic on the CD, and then I had this stupid little holographic tab to break.

A wee bit of overkill there. The longbox disappeared from Canadian record shops around 1989.
