![]() I've planted jalapeno peppers, chili peppers, bell peppers, cucumbers, vining tomatoes and grape tomatoes in pots in my back yard... But for the life of me I don't know why... I should realise from years gone by that I would be much better off to take all the money I spend on planters, soil, fertilizers, weed killers, bug killers, gardening equipment and plants and just buy food... I mean I spend $200 dollars or more on all this junk and most of my plants usually get knocked over, or eaten by wild and domesticated animals, or just die from neglect...I'll be very lucky if I get $20 dollars return on my investment... Does anyone else do this or is it just me ???

I would love to have a large garden but I absolutely hate weeding which I think would be a requirement for a healthy garden.
I have planted some raspberries and tomato plants this year and so far they are growing like crazy. Last year I had a lot of berries and they were delicious. |
