Suggestions for 4 new sub-sections

Hello hello!

New-ish guy Stubblecat here, requesting a slight expansion of our forum.
I'd like to formally ask for these 4 sub-sections (at our fair Admin's discretion, of course):

1. An Audio / Video Hardware section (sorry, I haven't made up any fancy names)

This would be a focused area for questions regarding flat-panel TVs, Blu-Ray players, combo players, home theater audio, set up questions, news about new equipment and all that type of junk.

2. A Fun & Games section

A place where we make lists, play dumb games, link to goofy flash games and make all sorts of polls about all sorts of stuff.

3. A Music section

Where we can discuss upcoming albums, music download sites, iPod-related shenanigans, concerts, what music we're listening to and new about our favorite bands and artists.

4. A Directors & Filmmakers section

A place where we can discuss the ouvre, filmographies, style and popularity of the people who make the films we love and loathe.


I of course realize that many threads about all of these topics exists already, but most of them are just spread out over all the other sub-sections.
This would be a nice way to sharpen things up a bit without having to make 500 sub-sections about every topic known to man.

Consider the consideration considered considering you have all good suggestions.

There's actually not one I don't like in that bunch, so give me a little bit to grab a hammer, some nails and a couple gallons of paint and i'll get those added in. Actually the A/V Hardware wil be perfect since I need to squash the HD / Blu-Ray section now that HD DVD can rest in peace.

Excellent suggestions, Stubblecat! I especially like the fourth as there really isn't an appropriate spot for that here. Sounds like administration likes them all so can't wait to see them pop up!

i think we should also have a sub section for books. it could be about books made into movies, ones we think should be made into movies, or just general book talk. i would probably even throw in some book reviews because i love to read. :P
