I have watched Hell's Kitchen but I haven't seen the Kitchen Nightmare. I guess I should see this series. I'm really amazed by how Ramsey handle his people (or contestants) and still get the delicacy as delicious as it should be.
About kitchen nightmares, I did have one nightmare happened to one evening in a local restaurant when I found a leg of cockroach in my soup. I never ever ordered that kind of soup until now and I guess for the rest of my life. |

I was less pleased with Kitchen Nightmares than Hell's Kitchen. It was still pretty good but some of the people you really have to wonder if they deserve what they get by the end of the show. I mean some restaurants are just not meant to last.

I actually enjoy this show as well - i found a late night marathon of it one night when i was having trouble sleeping... by around the 4th episode it was really late but i was fighting to stay awake to see what happened. The restaurant owner in that episode was just so freaking lazy and unappreciative of his help. When he went back to visit the place had shut down. Nice to know they don't all have happy endings

On the one episode I referred to with the unbelievably lazy girl.... Her father had financed the restaurant and I'm willing to venture a guess that he is the one that contacted the show. It was really a good (but frustrating) episode to watch.

I enjoy watching this show as well. It is amazing to me the ego's on some of these chefs. They think that their food just can't be improved and are so unwilling to change.
On the other hand, it makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like in some of the restaurants I eat at. |
