Default Getting Overseas Shows

You know, I love that so many stations offer shows online. But the IP regional checking just drives me mad! I know, I know, I'm not in the right country. But I still want to see your shows, and might still end up buying from your advertisers!

Ah. I need to go back home for a while....

What, you can't watch shows online even if you aren't in the right country? That's bollocks!

A British friend recently turned me on to a show that's unavailable here in the states. I wanted to order some stuff from amazon UK, but I'm afraid I won't be able to play it because of the country code/PAL. grrr.

If it's on DVD then there is every chance you won't be able to, unless of course the disc is region 0 which some sold in the UK are. Otherwise you'd need a 'special' player to deal with the region.

If your player handles the region, the PAL format should be ok.
