I watched the first two episodes this season and then managed to miss the rest until last night somehow. I'm rather lost at this point because of it, but there are a couple people still there I thought would be gone by now. I love this show and think Gordon is a genius.

I just don't see anyone who truly deserves to win this season.
That being said, I'll be more than happy to see the Red Tean win so I can see Corey run around in a bikini. I'm sort of cheering for Petrozza to get it, but methinks Corey might take the whole thing.

I am actually really surprised at the less than impressive skills any of this season's contestants have.
I like Petrozza but he's too much of a follower and far too messy.. but he is probably my favorite of the guys. Matt is just kind of freaky. I'm seriously waiting for him to go psychotic on the entire group and start stabbing people. There's obviously some kind of mental illness lurking in there somewhere. I'm extremely surprised that he's still on the show and am assuming he's there only to keep the viewing a bit more interesting because of his odd behavior. Jen is just nasty imho. She's another one I think they keep around just to have a little bit of fire to the episodes. It certainly isn't because of her cooking skills or command of the english language, that's for sure. Bobby is just boring to me. I learn towards disliking him just from his bits of arrogance that he's shown. I'm still not sure if he can cook or not. I think he has a shot of winning though just because he is able to manage things at the times he's actually willing to accept responsibility (the biggest problem for him is that he isn't often willing to go out on a limb like that, especially when things are not going well). Christina is lukewarm for me. I actually do somewhat like her, and I think she's okay at what she does, I just don't think she's got near enough strength of character to run a top notch restaurant. Here character is too meek, me thinks. Corey for me right now is the strongest candidate. She definitely seems to know her stuff and she's not afraid to take control when control needs to be taken. I think she shines the most only because this group is so incredibly weak. However, in the same breath I think in a stronger group she would be lost in the crowd. Quite honestly I'm very surprised that it's such a poor group of contestants. I'm left to wonder if it's by design so that Gordon Ramsey has more excuses to yell and throw fits, seemingly keeping the show "exciting" so to speak -- where in reality i think it dumbs it down too much. |

You scared me - for a minute there I thought I was talking about the wrong show in here... you know how I confuse easily!
Totally agree with you about Lisa... as far as Lisa and Spike were concerned on that last show, it's just a matter of the bottom of the barrel pecking order - they were interchangeable as the last 3 are heads above the rest. I LOVE Antonia, but i think it will be Stephanie or Richard as well. I'm actually fine with any of the remaining without issue. |

i'm mostly excited that there could finally be a female top chef! i wanted it to be leanne in season 1, but was glad it wasn't tiffany. i would have settled for elia in season 2 or casey in season 3, but i really want stephanie to win! plus she's from chicago...close enough to my hometown for me! ![]() |

I have also seen some episodes of Hell's Kitchen tv show. I think top chefs are there but they are abusive, In reality this does not happen. I dont know why the writer made this abusiveness here. But Anyhow this is drama and its only for entertainment.
