What is it? I've never seen Doctor Who - I left you a message on your profile about it and in mid-message I realized I wasnt' entirely sure if it was a tv show or a movie... but it sounds familiar.... what's the scoop on it?

Really aperio, you seem to live such a sheltered life... I find it hard to believe

I am in love with both of the shows, and have been faithfully watching, collecting the DVDs and so on. I just wish that they didn't bother with Sarah Jane-it seems like a little too desperate an attempt to cash in on the popularity.

I don't mind Sarah-Jane too much. It's aimed specifically at the kid audience where Doctor Who is aimed at the family audience (just look at the channels they are on: DW is on BBC 1 THE channel and SJ is relegated to CBBC basically the kiddie network).

I have no need to own the Sarah Jane Adventures, they were kinda cute stories and the last couple of them the writers figured out what to do with their characters.

The big question though, is what happens next with Torchwood!

I happen to be a long-time fan of Doctor Who, and I love both the old and new series!

Even the spin-off's are pretty decent as well, but Doctor Who itself will always hold the highest priority with me!

C'mon, I even listen to the fan audio dramas based on Doctor Who!

I've listened to a few of the Big Finish audios. They're OK for what they are, I'm not a fan of radio (audio) dramas though I'd much rather read the books or watch the shows.

Books, now, oh how I would love a new series of books based on the classic doctors. The book series for the current show are fine, but they are sooo geared towards kids.

Steven Moffat is always a safe bet for a good, creepy story. I can't wait to see how everything is resolved this week. You have heard he is taking over Exec Producer control from Russell T Davies next year haven't you. Could be an interesting year of specials.
