Hulu.com isn't too bad, but as far as some recently added/still airing shows, you might have to wait an extra week before they upload it. I caught up on some shows I never heard of as well.
If anyone has other places they like to watch TV online at, lemme know, I'm always interested. By the way, already bookmarked ABC.com for LOST purposes ![]() |

CBS has a way to watch their shows on line but I think you need real player to do it. (And if you have real player you should get rid of it Most malware, crazed piece of software out there)
Most of the big networks now have ways to legally watch their shows on line. Hulu.com is pretty good. If you like South Park all of those episodes are online now. If you're in the UK, the BBC has a lot of their shows available online (but it only works if you're in the UK) There's also TV on DVD, get yourself a Netflix subscription and go to town!

At one point I had found an unbelievable site on the web for tv shows, and for the life of me I can't remember where it was and evidently Einstein over here didn't bookmark it. I do agree with LadyShelley that a lot of the networks do air episodes on their websites - and netflix definitely rocks if you don't mind going that route.

Netflix gets me by for stuff not on network sites, or if they have what they do, its usually better in terms of no commercial breaks. I'm actually at a point where I'm thinking of taking a hiatus from those guys - trying to cut some expenses round here. My viewing habits with them have actually gone down in recent months and I can't justify the costs right now to rent as much as I had.

I know there are other online services like iTunes and Amazon that offer TV shows to watch, but I believe there may be a fee involved with those. I thought I read somewhere about a companies plan to show TV episodes free, but the catch was you had to sit through a certain number of commercials that couldn't be skipped over. But for the life of me I can't remember who it was.

You can't get around having to watch the commercials... But I've noticed like on Hulu.com you only watch maybe two minutes of commercials verses the 8 minutes you have on TV on a 30 minute show... The draw back is having to watch it on a much smaller screen... ![]()

Hulu's commercials' lengths aren't too bad, average maybe 30 seconds. I leave my popup blocker on though so I don't see them even though I get the delay. Its kind of a pain though if you're trying to sync up a show's pod cast to it.
Speaking of Amazon's Unbox thing, I caved in on it for one show so far. I figure the price is worth it if its a show you really like and want to support. |
