Sanctuary - a bit disappointing

Too bad this came out the same season as Fringe. Fringe is less on the supernatural side as Sanctuary but I put them in the same category and comparison is inevitable. I think Fringe is a better sci-fi mystery series and even then I'm growing tired of it.

Sanctuary is about a place called the "Sanctuary" (no duh!) that seeks supernatural or extraordinary entities and either helps them or locks them up for good. They hire a behavioral expert that has had an encounter with a supernatural entity to help them "catch" these entities.

Effects are not too shabby but acting is a bit lacking. They spend too much time explaining the concept. Then, they insert attempts at making the show action-packed, which end up being anti-climactic and a bit lame. In a nutshell, my husband and I ended up saying "That was it?!?" Anyway, I got bored and I don't think I'm watching anymore of this series.
