I am going to tell you some of the movies that my husband likes...
Those 8 Movies to die for (scary movies) he ownes I think 5 of those. Well the other day he says that he heard they where coming out with some more of them so he has already put in his request that he wants them. But anything Scary he wants. I mostly like funny movies and romanic ones sorry I can't think of any names. |

Renting really is so much more financially smart... but i hate being burdened with having to remember to return them on time, plus the hit or miss if they have the new release i want... so i usually end up buying them.. which has backfired plenty of times on the real movie bombs.
As for pending releases, I don't really have any currently that i just can't wait for. Stardust was probably the most recent one I was counting down the days til it was released. |

I guess I watch more rented movies than anything else... I have never bought a movie in my life, no I take that back... I have, to give as Christmas gifts... I have friends that have DVD collections... But I think there are a lot of movies that you need to see in the theater to get the full effect... Star Wars and Top Gun come to mind right off... I have a pretty nice TV and surround sound system at home, but it doesn't touch the emersion effect that you get from a good theater picture and sound system... Backrubs and foot massages? Oh you are quite the catch now, aren't you...! I think you are every woman's dream guy. lol
I don't know, there's just something about knowing I am semi trapped to being confined in that one seat... an hour and a half, i can do it... 3 hours... oh it just makes me twitchy thinking about it. |

Oh wow. From dvds to footrubs. I think I'll like this place.
Anyway, it's rare that I absolutely have to have a DVD. When I do buy a DVD, it's either because there was just something about the movie I loved, or one of my favorite actors is in it. I have quite the growing Sandra Bullock collection ![]() I think the last DVD I was really excited about buying was Knocked Up. I had gone to see it in theatres the day it came out because it looked hilarious and Katherine Heigl starred in it (also one of my favorite actresses). I think I get more excited about TV shows on DVD more so than movies. I love to get a box set of one of my favorite shows, and then just sit down and veg out as I work my way through the season and all the extras on the DVD that give extra insight into the production process is pure love. I have a Netflix subscription, so more often than not, I'll just rent a movie. If it's a movie I think I'll watch over and over again, then I'll buy it or ask for it as a gift. |
