Default Alvin & the Chipmunks

Somehow the release of this on DVD has snuck up on me. Now I'm trying to decide between renting and purchasing it and how much I'm willing to shell out for it. Anyone think its worth buying right on Tuesday?

Personally, I loved it. I saw it in theaters with 3 little ones and their laughing made me laugh even more. I say, if you have kids or love kid movies, go for it. Otherwise, maybe renting is best for you or purchasing with the intent of possibly passing onto someone else.

If you have seen it and loved it, then you can purchase it. I will buy it if I loved watching the movie over and over again.

But this movie didn't appeal so much on my viewing pleasure so I would just rent it if I would like to watch it again.

I am going to buy myself a copy because Alvin and I go a way back. We used to sing together - well not exactly, but it is true that we go a way back. I loved the TV shows and I loved the movie.

I ended up catching old cartoons of them this past weekend, really surprised me too. I have not seen any in years and now theres a movie? I think it would be sweet to watch and share with the younger crowd.

I don't know... I love Jason Lee, but I don't know if I can bring myself to watch this one. Though, if you can find it for $10, maybe do that, and then sell it. Seeing as it often costs like $5 to rent a movie, may as well just buy!

Normally Walmart has new released for $14-15 for the first week before they go back to $19-20. I'm not sure about finding it for $10 for some time. We got a rental gift card for Christmas with $150 on it though so we've got more than enough to rent it to be sure a couple times if need be, lol. I loved the chipmunks as a kid (although Theodore was my favorite) so I'm excited about it.

I will have to get a copy. My excuse, as if I needed one, will be that it's for the kids. I'm happy to see that these 'munks have come so far.

Default Rent it first

I always rent a new movie before purchasing it now as I've been disappointed in the past. Find a RedBox and you can check it out for only a buck before shelling out $20 to find out you didn't enjoy it.

I would definitely get it for my baby, I have found that they have a totally different sense of humor and it's no wonder, because it was really created for them, not us adults.
