I'm keeping an open mind about this movie, considering I'd already braced myself for disliking T3 but wound up loving it when I did see it.

I've never been a big fan of the Terminator series myself, but I have to agree, its just not going to be the same without Arnold in them. Might make an interesting rental especially for a long weekend to watch them all in order.

OMG spiderpig !!! Although I did really enjoyed the first 3 Terminator movies, someone would have to tie me down and glue my eye lids open to make me watch them again... And Cavalier and AKmaro1 as for those not being the right trailors, tough I'm tried of looking... There must be about a hundred Terminator 4 trailors out there... And I must have watched about a dozen of them trying to find the right one... I'm sick of the Terminator now...

I'll miss Arnold but it's no big deal if he isn't in Terminator 4. I would watch it.

The easiest way to keep Arnold in would be whenever they show his Terminator model in skeleton form and it has to speak (assuming when its introduced it is before Skynet gets wise and makes 'em human on the outside), all he has to do is phone in his lines.

Yikes. Arnold was a really integral part of the series for me. I am not sure how this movie would wash.
The first three were great-I've seen the first two a dozen or more times each, but the third only once. I liked it, but having a family by then I didn't have so many opportunities to see it. I might try this out but I'll wait till it hits On Demand.

After thinking about this for a few days more, maybe a Terminator 4 wouldn't be so bad even without Arnold! As long as the story is good and most of the series trademarks remain, I am more than willing to at least give it a fair try. At worst the film should still be decent.
