Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will release "Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!" on DVD & Blu-ray this December 9th. The film features the voice talents of Jim Carrey, Steve Carell, Carol Burnett, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Isla Fisher, Will Arnett, and Amy Poehler. The film will be available on DVD as a Single Disc Edition, 2-Disc Special Edition, and a 2-Disc Special Edition Giftset.
The Single Disc Edition will include: a "Digital Copy Trailer," a "Directors' / Producer Audio Commentary (Jimmy Hayward, Steve Martino, Chris Judge)," an "Actors' Audio Commentary (Jim Carrey, Steve Carell)," and "'Surviving Sid' - All-new animated short focusing on the Ice Age characters Sid and Scrat."
The 2-Disc Edition DVD & Blu-ray will include the above plus: 8 featurettes, "13 Deleted Scenes with Introductions/Optional Commentaries from Co-Directors Jimmy Hayward and Steve Martino," "23 Animation Screen Tests with Introductions from Animator Nick Bruno Horton," a "We Are Here! Set-top game" "DVD-Rom - Create Your Own Animation," a "Digital Copy" of the film and "Bonus View technology - Watch Horton Hears a Who! with a Who! (Blu-ray Exclusive)."
The giftset will include the special edition's extras plus: a Horton plush toy.
