snookumsnort Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen make an uncanny pair. I thought it was very atypical of western duos. But their interplay tends to grow on you as you watch the movie. My only concern was that this movie didn't feel like it knew what type of movie it was supposed to be. Was it supposed to be a romantic movie? A comedy? But their interplay tends to grow on you as you watch the movie. My only concern was that this movie didn't feel like it knew what type of movie it was supposed to be. Was it supposed to be a romantic movie? A comedy? Or was it supposed to be your typical western story? The movie was humorous and made us laugh. It was just confusing because we couldn't appreciate it for what it was supposed to be. For lack of a better word, it was sort of a mishmash. It's an okay movie. No loss, no gain. I would give it a 3/5. (close)

Del Toro to direct The Hobbit

Del Toro will move to New Zealand for the next four years to work with Jackson and his Wingnut and WETA production teams. Step Brothers movie review

Some people may think Ferrell is just up to his old schtick, which I can see what they mean, but I love it. He was in his element with this movie, and it was much better than some of his other roles as of late.
