snookumsnort I was so confused by this film. As an action flick, it's okay. But if you're making a movie that tackles science, the future, and religion, you should have a better explanation for the concepts you're presenting. But if you're making a movie that tackles science, the future, and religion, you should have a better explanation for the concepts you're presenting. At the end of the film, we were left pretty much hanging with a lot of unanswered questions...most importantly was: So what was the point? Two groups want Aurora within their grasp: the Neolites and a mysterious group headed by Darquandier. The reasons are slowly leaked throughout the film. As more details were revealed, the more we wanted to know about what was going on. I mean, [SPOILER]so she was borne by AI, which accounts for her superior knowledge. But it doesn't really say why she can read minds or sense people. It doesn't explain how she is capable of a virgin birth. The babies are supposedly enhancing their power but anything more about the babies and why they would give her powers are left out.[/SPOILER] The movie is great for mindless enjoyment. Just don't ask too many questions. (close)
