It's fast-paced and keeps you on the edge. Although half-way through the movie, you would have probably figured out what it's all about and if you're really smart, you'll probably have a clue about what the twist is. Surprisingly, knowing these things (the twist and all) didn't prevent us from enjoying the movie at all. The pervasive feeling was that we couldn't really say whether the caller could be THAT ruthless or not. A warning though. The concept of the whole movie isn't very orignal: how technology can be used against us or better yet, [SPOILER]how technology--really smart ones--can turn against us. It's very reminiscent of I Robot or Enemy of the State.[/SPOILER] If you can sit back, relax and not over-think this movie, then you would find it quite pleasant to watch. 3.5/5 (close)

Del Toro to direct The Hobbit
