George Simmons is a famous stand-up comedian who learns that he has a terminal illness and less than a year to live. When, he meets Ira, a struggling comedian at a comedy club where both the comedians are performing, George hires Ira to be his personal assistant and opening act at his performances. The two forge a close friendship as George helps Ira with his career and Ira helps George find closure in his legacy. However, when George learns that his disease has gone into remission and an ex-girlfriend re-enters his life, he's inspired to reevaluate what is important to him and what truly gives meaning to his life.

But when a fact-checking bureaucrat becomes suspicious, the two straight guys are forced to improvise as love-struck newlyweds.
Sylvester Stallone Announces ‘Expendables’.. Could we soon be seeing a meaner, bloodier, and (dare I say) more ass-kicking version of The Expendables ? The answer, according to Sylvester Stallone himself, is a throat-chopping, YES! Last week on Twitter , that wonderful fountain of misspelled celebrity wisdom, Stallone said that a director’s cut of The Expendables would be coming out in “about six months.” To tide over action fiends that propelled The Expendables to more than $180 million in worldwide box office grosses, Stallone also said that Inferno , a documentary about the making of The Expendables , would be “out soon.” Even though The Expendables didn’t go over all that well with critics ( read our review here ), the film did manage to connect with its target audience, and I suspect that same audience will be interested in checking out Stallone’s director’s cut.
