It all started when Charlie Logan was ten years old. Breaking the cardinal rules of spin-the-bottle, Charlie refused to lip-lock with a demented Goth girl and she put a hex on him. Now, twenty-five years later, Charlie (Dane Cook) is a successful dentist and still cursed. While his plastic surgeon best friend, Stu (Dan Fogler), pursues as many of his patients as possible, Charlie can't seem to find the right girl. Even worse, he discovers at an ex-girlfriend's wedding that every woman he's ever slept with has found true love with the next guy after him.
Before he knows it, Charlie's reputation as a good luck charm has women from sexy strangers to his overweight receptionist lining up for a quickie. But a life filled with all sex and no love has Charlie lonelier than ever that is, until he meets Cam (Jessica Alba). An accident-prone penguin specialist, Cam is as hard-to-get as she is beautiful. But when a genuine romance develops, Charlie realizes he's got to find a way to break his good-luck curse before the girl of his dreams winds up with the next guy she meets.

Pineapple Express Movie Review
I think ‘stoner’ comedies are funny. I’ve watched the Cheech and Chong movies numerous times (although I probably shouldn’t have seen them at the age I did), and I love Harold and Kumar…but would I love Dale and Saul, the stoner buddies of Pineapple Express? The answer is a resounding YES!

National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets
It would be pretty easy to be scathing about this movie if it weren't for the fact that I don't think it sets its ambitions that high in the first place. We Own the Night Movie Review
We Own the Night is one of those solid police movies that tries to rely on straight forward story telling rather leaning on a multitude of action scenes. Unfortunately, the script doesn't really carry the weight of expectation as only Phoenix's character gets the chance to display any real complexity.

The Savages Movie Review
I like dark comedies. I love laughing at things that I probably shouldn’t be laughing at, but do anyway. So when I first saw previews for the movie The Savages, I felt that it was a movie right up my alley, and I was right. This movie is more family drama, but it does have some dark comedy thrown in at just the right moments to help lighten the drama.

In Bruges Movie Review
In Bruges circles around Ken and Ray, two hitmen who are sent to Bruges, Belgium by their boss, Harry Waters, after completing a job in London... It was odd to feel shocked and scared one moment, and then laugh out loud the next.
