I gave it a chance anyhow: one, because I’m a sucker for teenage pregnancy movies (what can I say – I can get sucked into those Lifetime movies too, I’m not made of stone!) and two, because I wanted to see more of Ellen Page. ..

Page is excellent as Juno and a lot of fun to watch throughout. Garner is perfect as the uptight woman desperate to become a mother and Bateman is okay as her seemingly trapped husband. It's also good to see J.K. Simmons pop up as Juno's dad, although it's hard not to instantly think of him as Spiderman's J. Jonah Jameson even without the trademark hair...

Rachel Ahh, Juno. It has become one of my favorites! I absolutly loved the soundtrack to this movie. I really can't put into words why this movie is so great. It just makes you happy when you watch it, does that make sense? Juno's cheery personality is really great, it's a great laugh.

snookumsnort I watched it this weekend too! I'm not a big fan of romance or comedy or these types of movies but I have to admit that I enjoyed it immensely. The plot is very unique and the girl who played Juno is a promising actress. I just don't get the dialogue sometimes...do kids these days talk that way?

picodoll The story line of this movie doesn't really appeal to me but it seems everyone I've talked to likes it quite a lot. I'm watching for a little more positive feed back here before I go and see it. I'm not entirely convinced I'll like it.

Horton Hears a WHO! Movie Review

I think what I found most refreshing about this movie is that it took me a while to figure out which characters Jim Carey and Steve Carell were playing. It seriously could have been the other way around and I really like that. It felt like they were actually making an effort to play the characters as opposed to just being a famous voice in an animated cartoon.
