Caleb Koestler (Chandler Canterbury) digs up a time capsule in his elementary school and shows the mysterious sequence of numbers he found to his father, Professor John Koestler (Nicolas Cage). On studying the numbers, John realizes that the numbers, in fact, are an encoded message detailing every major disaster since the time capsule was buried. The message further indicates the occurrence of three similar disasters, the last of which indicates a doomsday scenario and is seemingly having direct links with Caleb and John. To stop the prophecy from becoming true, John tracks down and seeks the help of Diana Wayland (Rose Byrne), the daughter of the messages author, with John ready to make the ultimate sacrifice. Horton Hears a WHO! Movie Review

I think what I found most refreshing about this movie is that it took me a while to figure out which characters Jim Carey and Steve Carell were playing. It seriously could have been the other way around and I really like that. It felt like they were actually making an effort to play the characters as opposed to just being a famous voice in an animated cartoon.
