	What a big disappointment. This movie failed in the box office and I know why. We saw the director's cut version in the DVD. It was just too slow. As in, "slow" is an understatement. Even their slow-motion sequences, which should add more drama to the movie was too slow. It wasn't exciting. It was heart-wrenching considering he lost his family. 	Not so surprising.. This movie only earn $40,687,294 and most of the commentaries were this movie is too slow.. But I thought the the visuals and direction were outstanding.

Del Toro to direct The Hobbit

Del Toro will move to New Zealand for the next four years to work with Jackson and his Wingnut and WETA production teams.
