Lazy stoner Dale Denton (Seth Rogen) has only one reason to visit his equally lazy dealer Saul Silver (James Franco): to purchase weed, specifically, a rare new strain called Pineapple Express. But when Dale becomes the only witness to a murder by a crooked cop (Rosie Perez) and the city's most dangerous drug lord (Gary Cole), he panics and dumps his roach of Pineapple Express at the scene. Dale now has another reason to visit Saul: to find out if the weed is so rare that it can be traced back to him. And it is. As Dale and Saul run for their lives, they quickly discover that they're not suffering from weed-fueled paranoia; incredibly, the bad guys really are hot on their trail and trying to figure out the fastest way to kill them both. All aboard the Pineapple Express.

I love James Franco as an actor but I think he's better suited for dramatic roles. This movie had quite some laughs but it's not really hilarious all the way. I didn't find it corny but it if you want to compare it against really funny movies lately like Tropic Thunder and Meet the Fockers...it's not at that caliber, I think.

I really enjoyed this movie myself althought I have to admit it did have some slow parts in it... But then it had all the things I like in a movie... There were car chase scenes, explosions, shoot outs, fighting and a lot of laughs... And I think it probably helps to partake of a little of the cat-nip before the show to improve your movie going experience...

Yea the chase scenes were the best part of the movie...
I know if they make a sequel the CopyCat will be there...

There was some slow parts but the whole the movie was very fine. Story of chasing car .. cast funny impacts. I will watch the whole movie on next coming sunday. I just watch on my PC and took eye bird view.
