After serving 15 years for manslaughter, reformed pastor Armstrong Cane (Ving Rhames) is ready to make amends with the neighborhood he abandoned. Returning to his late father's preaching ground, the First Community Church of God, he reaches out to Norris, a young, troubled dealer on the path to self-destruction. With Armstrong's guidance, Norris wants out, but is threatened with his life by drug boss Blaze (Dean McDermott) if he quits. When Armstrong is pressured by another pastor (Ricardo Chavira) to sell the church, their chances of building a new life seem slim. Together, the two strive to escape their dark pasts, and to reclaim a brighter future.

Del Toro to direct The Hobbit
Del Toro will move to New Zealand for the next four years to work with Jackson and his Wingnut and WETA production teams. He will helm the two films back to back – telling the story of “The Hobbit,” and its sequel, which will deal with the 60-year period between “The Hobbit” and “The Fellowship of the Ring,” the first of the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy.

Step Brothers movie review
Some people may think Ferrell is just up to his old schtick, which I can see what they mean, but I love it. He was in his element with this movie, and it was much better than some of his other roles as of late.
