From Executive Producers Bruce Willis and Queen Latifah, The Hip Hop Project is the compelling story of Kazi, a formerly homeless teenager who inspired a group of New York City teens to transform their life stories into powerful works of art, using hip hop as a vehicle for self-development and personal discovery.
Kazi challenges these young people to write music about real issues affecting their lives as they strive to overcome daunting obstacles to produce a collaborative album. Russell Simmons, hip hop mogul and long-time supporter of the project, partners with Bruce Willis to donate a recording studio to the Hip Hop Project. After four years of collaboration, the group produces a powerful and thought-provoking CD filled with moving personal narratives and sharp social commentary. In contrast to all of the negative attention focused on hip hop and rap music, this is a story of hope, healing and the realization of dreams.

In the mid-1990's, on a whim, Keenan left Los Angeles and moved to an Arizona ghost town (population 300). A wine enthusiast, he began to envision a world class wine region on the Verde Valley's craggy slopes and with wine mentor Eric Glomski (former David Bruce winemaker and current owner of the award-winning Page Springs Cellars), Keenan began the long road to bringing credibility and notoriety to Caduceus and Arizona Stronghold Vineyards amidst wine industry prejudice and the harsh Arizona terrain. Blood Into Wine takes viewers into the struggles and triumphs with a unique blend of comedy and master storytelling.

Sylvester Stallone Announces ‘Expendables’.. Could we soon be seeing a meaner, bloodier, and (dare I say) more ass-kicking version of The Expendables ? The answer, according to Sylvester Stallone himself, is a throat-chopping, YES! Last week on Twitter , that wonderful fountain of misspelled celebrity wisdom, Stallone said that a director’s cut of The Expendables would be coming out in “about six months.” To tide over action fiends that propelled The Expendables to more than $180 million in worldwide box office grosses, Stallone also said that Inferno , a documentary about the making of The Expendables , would be “out soon.” Even though The Expendables didn’t go over all that well with critics ( read our review here ), the film did manage to connect with its target audience, and I suspect that same audience will be interested in checking out Stallone’s director’s cut.
