In the comedy 'The Love Guru,' Pitka (Mike Myers) is an American who was left at the gates of an ashram in India as a child and raised by gurus. He moves back to the U.S. to seek fame and fortune in the world of self-help and spirituality. His unorthodox methods are put to the test when he must settle a rift between Toronto Maple Leafs star hockey player Darren Roanoke (Romany Malco) and his estranged wife. After the split, Roanoke's wife starts dating L.A. Kings star Jacques Grande (Justin Timberlake) out of revenge, sending her husband into a major professional skid ' to the horror of the teams' owner Jane Bullard (Jessica Alba) and Coach Cherkov (Verne Troyer). Pitka must return the couple to marital nirvana and get Roanoke back on his game so the team can break the 40-year-old 'Bullard Curse' and win the Stanley Cup.

	I cannot begin to tell how disappointed I was in this movie. It wasn't even remotely funny!!! It would've been a great concept but the funny scenes were not original. The movie tries to make you laugh with Bollywood spoofs, references to long schlongs and the use of pee. It wasn't very creative at all. My opinion: don't waste your time at all.

	I also had high hopes for this movie... Everything pointed at it as being a great movie... I like Justin Timberlake, I've seen him do funny stuff like that "Dick in a Box" song... And then it had that little Mini-Me guy [Verne something], he was so great in "The Spy Who Shagged Me"... The storyline sounded like a sure hit, I do admit I did get a red flag when... 	It was torture! I have to say 'some' parts were funny but others were just idiotic. Justin Timberlake looked so stupid! Can't believe he did a role like this one. Horrible movie.

Step Brothers movie review

Some people may think Ferrell is just up to his old schtick, which I can see what they mean, but I love it. He was in his element with this movie, and it was much better than some of his other roles as of late.
