This, combined with a distaste for the harassing mortgage lenders pounding on his door, has put Dick in a foul mood.
One evening the Murphy brothers inadvertently discover something quite amazing: The Map. They are shocked to find that their long lost parents, the Hippies Murphy, have bequeathed to them a map to a ‘Magical Forest of Marijuana,’ run as an experiment in hallucinogens by the U.S. Government in the 1960’s, and hidden in the plains of Kansas.
Rolling Kansas is an offbeat road comedy with a heartfelt core. On the surface it is a quirky, hilarious voyage pitting five heroes against the law, the land and themselves, yet it is also a tale of self-discovery as the road to weedland takes many unexpected turns.

Fiona (Liane Balaban - New Waterford Girl) is his beautiful, streetwise protégée who offers him a simple way out of his jam - but in their seedy world of thieves, burnouts and hustlers looking for the big score, nothing is ever simple.
From garbage-strewn alleys to cheap motel rooms, their "no-brainer" plan takes a hair-raising detour into rip-offs, double-crosses - and murder. If they can pull it all together, they'll be rich. If they can't, there's a hit man waiting . .. with a pair of hedge clippers.
As Harlan and Fiona's ultimate con picks up dizzying speed, it's not long before everyone involved starts to wonder: just who's conning whom?

Step Brothers movie review Some people may think Ferrell is just up to his old schtick, which I can see what they mean, but I love it. He was in his element with this movie, and it was much better than some of his other roles as of late. Read Entire Story »
Horton Hears a WHO! Movie Review I think what I found most refreshing about this movie is that it took me a while to figure out which characters Jim Carey and Steve Carell were playing. It seriously could have been the other way around and I really like that. It felt like they were actually making an effort to play the characters as opposed to just being a famous voice in an animated cartoon. Read Entire Story »
Burn After Reading Movie Review This movie is the latest by brothers Ethan and Joel Coen and definitely follows a similar vein of plot to their previous blockbuster, No Country For Old Men. Many people I've talked to have criticized Burn After Reading because of this, but I don't think the similarities are close enough to completely ruin this movie. Read Entire Story »
